Yo! Sushi opened this week in Union Station. I got a taste when they opened their doors, see my thoughts here.
Mayfair & Pine opened it’s doors last week with a grand opening celebration in the Glover Park neighborhood. The pub style restaurant/bar is housed in the space previously belonging to Town Hall (which has moved up the block).
Chef Jamie Leeds and Gina Chersevani came together to open Hank’s Oyster Bar & The Eddy on Capitol Hill. The 40-seat restaurant features familiar dishes from Chef Leed’s Dupont & Old Town locations. The 20-seat bar features Gina’s notorious handcrafted cocktails.
Penn Social opened this month in the space once belonging to Riot Act Comedy (apparently DC doesn’t do live comedy…). Slated to be the new adult playground with skeeball and shuffleboard in the building, Penn Social will also serve a full lunch and dinner menu.
