This Weekend: Wine Fest!

DSC_0462On Saturday,  June 7, Drink the District will host a wine festival at The Block (500 New York Ave, NW). Pre-sale tickets start at  $40 online ($50 at the door) but, by using the promotional code, drinkwine, JKGF readers will receive a $10 discount on their purchase.  During the three hour sessions at Drink the District, participants will be able to sample over 100 varieties of wine and enjoy unlimited access to a selection of full pour options. Live music, lawn games and DC food trucks will round off this day.

Drink the District appeals to young professionals. The ones who work hard, play hard and are looking for an alternative to the same old bar scene. Drink the District offers a lively, upbeat, social environment, featuring some of the best food and wine DC has to offer. To accommodate the busy lifestyle of the young professional, Drink the District will host two separate 3-hour sessions on Saturday, June 7.

Drink the District: Wine Festival will guide event-goers through a range of over 100 local, national and international wines. Event participants will get to enjoy unlimited tastes as well as select full pour wines from the Uber Offices Full Pour Bar.

Johnna French is a Harlem NY native with deep roots in Panama, Washington, DC and North Carolina. All four places have heavily influenced her life and the foods she loves today.
