Alexandria Food & Wine Festival

FINAL-logo.highSlips, slurps, chomps and laughter will fill the air in Old Town Alexandria as the local community gathers together to enjoy the diverse restaurants of Alexandria and Virginia’s wineries at the 2nd Annual Alexandria Food & Wine Festival, taking place on Saturday, June 22, 2013.

This family friendly, signature event will transform the Carlyle District into a lively festival, complete with live entertainment, a children’s corner, food and wine tasting, and a food demonstration showcase area. Local restaurants will compete for the best appetizer, the best main course and the best desert. Attendees will be able to sample food and wine from a variety of local restaurants and Virginia’s wineries.

Cost:  This is a FREE event to attend; however tickets are needed to sample food and beverages.

Johnna French is a Harlem NY native with deep roots in Panama, Washington, DC and North Carolina. All four places have heavily influenced her life and the foods she loves today. During the 2016-2017 football season, Johnna aired on Comcast Sports Mid-Atlantic (CSN) show, Redskins Life, as the weekly tailgate host. Johnna is currently a regular contributor to the FOX Baltimore Weekend morning show.
