In a Pickle.

Pickles are one of my all time favorite snacks.  Jarred, fried, slathered in between two pieces of bread, I honestly can take the brined cucumbers in all shapes and forms.  Recently Vlasic released their Farmer’s Garden premium varieties and I jumped at the opportunity to taste test.  Packed with cucumbers, veggies and a variety of herbs and spices, the garden variety is perfect served alone.  Though I could literally sit and eat piece by piece alone, the thought of an old fashioned deli sandwich came to mind.  Boar’s Head meat, a slice of Pepper Jack cheese, Dijon mustard and a little Mayo alongside the garden varietal would be a match made.

The combination of the veggies would make you believe you could taste all of the flavors in every bite.  Unfortunately, this is where the pickles kind of failed my expectations because together they taste amazing, separately you would think they were brined in separate jars.  The fact that I love pickles does veer my opinion towards the awesomeness of this product and if you love them too, you will share my sentiments.  For those that are on the fence about the prickly green veggies, try with my recipe above and I promise you will leave a happy camper.
