SHAKE SHACK’S “TWO PINT-CONVERSION” DEAL

Shake Shack, with two locations in DC, will be offering a great two-for-one deal on frozen custards during the weekend of the Super Bowl as part of its “Two-Pint Conversion” special. Customers who buy one pint of frozen custard will get another free-and grab a fun Shake Shack-branded mini football. Shake Shack’s frozen custard flavors include vanilla, chocolate and their flavor of the week. The special runs from Thursday, January 30 to Sunday, February 2. VINOTECA’S ALL NIGHT SUPER BOWL HAPPY HOUR

Vinoteca hosts an All Night Super Bowl Happy Hour and viewing party on Sunday, February 2 beginning at 5 p.m. The bar and restaurant will serve 15 wines at $5/glass, and feature specials on small plates.  Vinoteca’s 7-day-a-week happy hour usually runs from 5-7pm. “EAT FOR FREE, DRINK FOR ALMOST FREE” SUPER BOWL PARTY at JACK ROSE DINING SALOON

Jack Rose Dining Saloon in Adams Morgan is celebrating the Super “Chili” Bowl with its annual “Eat for Free, and Drink for Almost Free” bowl party from 5:30pm-11 p.m. on February 2. Jack Rose will dole out a complimentary bowl of Chili + Corn Bread to fans with drink specials of $5 Punch, Pints & Whiskey. Beer Director Nahem Simon will also offer beers from each team’s home state of Colorado and Washington. Bites like Duck Fat Fries with black truffle mayo and Sriracha ranch, and House Made Pretzels with bourbon honey butter will be offered at a 50-percent discount. Fans can watch the game on Jack Rose’s heated rooftop terrace featuring three jumbo-sized flat-screen TVs all tuned in to Super Bowl XLVIII. G is launching their catering menu just in time for the Super Bowl. The menu (available here) includes G’s big hits, along with something new: 3-foot versions of some of Chef Mike Isabella’s favorite sandwiches. Each 36-inch sandwich can easily feed over a dozen people. Due to the bread necessitating a special order, 48-hour notice is required to order. For the Superbowl, orders must be in by 5pm on Friday, Jan. 31.

The Columbia Heights vegan bakery is letting diner’s state their allegiance with their cupcake choices. Both Seahawks and Broncos inspired cupcakes will be in the pastry case starting this weekend.
