Contemporary ballet company Chamber Dance Project, dancers & musicians, announces Tango with the Stars on April 10 at One Metro Center. The Argentine-themed gala will include a seductive tango dance competition featuring D.C. celebrities partnered by professional tango dancers, an Argentinean dinner, and a silent auction. Proceeds will benefit the dancers’ selected charities and Chamber Dance Project’s upcoming season and debut, June 26-28, at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, sponsored by the Embassy of Argentina.

The gala will start at 6pm with a VIP Champagne reception on the rooftop terrace, offering views of the city and the opportunity for guests to mingle with the dancers and judges. The gala will be held in the  seventh floor atrium of One Metro Center and include cocktails, dinner, a silent auction and two exciting rounds of tango competition. After the winning dancers are announced, the evening will continue with music and dancing for all guests.

Johnna French is a Harlem NY native with deep roots in Panama, Washington, DC and North Carolina. All four places have heavily influenced her life and the foods she loves today.
