Happy Hour: Smith Commons

It’s rare that I get nervous about happy hour, it’s the best time of day!  That is until I become the host of the show which is what will happen in a little over a week.  Lucky for me, I was able to team up with Girl Meets Food for May’s DC Food Blogger Happy Hour.  Why am I feeling the pressure?  Well, let’s see…I helped in organizing a place for some of the area’s paramount food connoisseurs and cocktail guru’s to get together and chalk it up.  May not be much to the average connoisseur but there’s bit of pressure when you’re a food blogger who boasts a palate that’s worth a daily read.  Lucky me #2:  We were able to snag a nifty little space in one of H street’s newest dining destinations, Smith Commons, which is creating buzz around its happy hour menu.  Rest assured the drinks will be potent, the beer will be plentiful and the truffle oil Mac n’ Cheese will be in full effect.  Cheers!
