-From lawyer and licensed pilot to Top Chef??  Well, Emeril Lagasse’s attorney, Mark Stein, is turning over a new leaf to see if he can take a stab at what his famous client does for a living.  Check out the video above created by Love My Philly.  Who knows?  Maybe in a few years the Food Network will pick up “Cooking with Emeril Lagasse’s Attorney”…Boom!

-New Chef for Blue Duck TavernExecutive Chef Brian McBride has appointed Eric Fleischer as the new Chef de Cuisine of Blue Duck Tavern.  Chef Fleischer comes from executive chef positions at Bread and Lulu in New York, and Chef de Cuisine at Zola. Kudos!

The Washington Post has expanded its popular restaurant deals, The Capitol Dish, to new and improved, The Capitol Deal.  The new deals will include discounts of up to 75% off restaurants, retail, entertainment, health and wellness events, just to name a few.  Look forward to deals from local names such as Lettie Gooch, Pulp and Denude Day Spa.
