The modern edge of fine dining will meet the exotic spice of South American cuisine at Vinifera Wine Bar and Bistro on Saturday, January 29th.  The urban-chic bistro in Reston, Virginia hosts “Vinifera’s World Tour” each month, giving guests the opportunity to experience the cuisine and fine wines of different regions of the world without having to book a 12-hour flight.

This month, patrons will experience South America through a selection of courses and wines designed to capture the very essence of the diverse country.  Pollo asada (marinated chicken and rice) and cangrejos mornay (baked crabmeat in a mornay sauce) are just a couple of the small plate dishes that will be offered at the event.  If you’re in the area, I highly suggest using this event as an opportunity to save those United Airlines points and still experience the flavor of another country.

The next “Vinifera World Tour” dinner will be in March and will feature French cuisine and wine selections.
