Labor Day Weekend is here and why do we feel like we will be working our hardest this weekend…Anywho, that won’t stop us from pulling out the grill, folding some chopped onions into ground beef and cooking until just right;-) Of course there are some things going on in case you don’t want to do the grill thing and want to be waited on hand and foot. Check it:

>Herndon Labor Day Wine and Jazz Festival– Talk about an awesome reason to visit Herndon (*You know, that place that you pass on your way to Dulles Airport…). On Monday from 12 pm-6 pm, Herndon is the place to be for all the wine you can drink.

The Money: $15 for admission to UNLIMITED wine tasting…wow. $5 if you don’t want any booze and children 12 and under are FREE.

Johnna French is a Harlem NY native with deep roots in Panama, Washington, DC and North Carolina. All four places have heavily influenced her life and the foods she loves today.
