A few weeks ago we told you about the method of grilling pizza via HomeMade Pizza Co. Then we asked readers to submit their most creative toppings for grilled pizza for a chance to win a $10 gift card to HomeMade Pizza Co. We were excited by the numerous entries we received and unfortunately had to narrow it down to 5 winners with the best, most creative, toppings for grilled pizza. Here’s what our top 5 want on their grilled pizza:

1st. Place (Reader from New York, NY): Roasted duck meat without the skin, green onions, sesame seeds, peppercorns, smoked mozzarella cheese and red pepper flakes.

2nd. Place (Reader from Mclean, VA): Pressed Tofu, finely chopped fresh garlic, fresh shiitake mushroom slices, chopped green pepper and grated Parmesan cheese.

3rd. Place (Reader from Washington, D.C): Ground turkey, Sausage, diced tomatoes, taco seasoning, shredded Mexican mix cheese, chopped lettuce, diced fresh tomatoes, sliced black olives and chopped green onions. Tack on a side of guacamole for this Taco themed creation.

4th. Place (Reader from Bethesda, MD): BBQ sauce, chicken, brie cheese, shiitake mushrooms and green onions.

5th. Place (Reader from Lorton, VA): Shredded Jamaican jerk chicken, scallions, cilantro, carrots, sun-dried tomatoes and provolone cheese.

These are some interesting mix and matches that can make a grilled pizza. Thank you to all that participated and Congrats to the winners!
