Bachelorette Bound

JKGF is bachelorette party bound and what better way to do a proper send off than with the booze of our past?! Something old and something new make the cut for the weekend as the packaging and cocktail varieties have changed since my college drinking days.

The Original Clubtails in a Can are apparently all the rage now, which take the pressure off of having to play bartender when you are trying to celebrate. Coming in flavors such as Long Island Iced Tea, Sex on the Beach, Bahama Mama and Sunny Margarita, the variety definitely takes us back to the early days of drinkin’.

Johny Bootlegger, however, is in tow and this is the original cheap thrill. Peach, apple and grape round out the flavor choices taking us back to simpler days of choosing cocktails.

These days wine is the drink of choice and if it is a cocktail, it is usually preceded by some history lesson of how the drink has been barreled and aged for years on end. This weekend feels good. Simple and easy. No frills but with all the thrills. Fingers crossed no one will end the night the way we used to after too many LI Iced Teas…
