An Ice Bar in DC. Finally. The Donovan House has converted its posh rooftop pool area into a winter wonderland with a Winter Ice Bar. The bar will be open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5 pm- 10 pm and patrons can warm up with the outdoor fire pits.

The Brown Bag opens with its newest location at 1625 I Street, NW on February 3, 2011. This is the 5th location in the DC area for the casual sandwich, soup and breakfast shop.

Artini’s are back. During the month of March, DC’s top mixologists will show off their cocktail and artistic creative expressions via martini’s inspired by works from the Corcoran Collection. Guests can look forward to cocktails from AGAINN, Art and Soul, PS 7 and The Gibson. The month long celebration will conclude with an ARTINI cocktail party at the Corcoran on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 8:30 pm to 12 am.

Vento has opened. The sister restaurant to Siroc has opened boasting traditional Italian fare in a contemporary setting. Now, I now I kind of late on this one (they officially opened in November 2010) but this is their first restaurant week and they have a pretty cool happy hour from 5 pm-7 pm (*Half off bar menu, $5 wine/select cocktails and $4 beers).
