Buttercream Frosting

1 cup powdered sugar
1 egg white
1 stick butter
8 tbsp. Crisco
1/2 tsp. vanilla

In a bowl, combine all ingredients with a hand held blender (*or if you are one of the lucky ones with a KitchenAid mixer, then use this instead;-) Blend all ingredients until fluffy and use to spread on whatever you like:-)

*Johnna’s tip: This recipe was inspired by the buttercream frosting at D.C.’s “Hello Cupcake”…it melts in your mouth:-) Cakelove, also in D.C., uses a buttercream frosting as well…whichever cupcake eatery, Cakelove or Hello Cupcake, you can get to first, try it! And if all else fails, make you some cupcakes and this recipe at home to fulfill your buttercream craving…
