Restaurant week is not over and the from the looks of things, it will not end anytime soon for Buddha Bar. The Mass. Ave. restaurant will feature a prix fixe menu for $20.11 year-round. Menu items include Miso Soup, Vietnamese Spring Rolls, Korean BBQ Sandwich’s and Japanese Sea Bass Tacos. This is good news for those on a budget, Buddha Bar can typically run you a nice tab without the prix fixe prices.

California Tortilla has debuted the Korean BBQ Taco. Marinated steak, Korean BBQ sauce, kimchi slaw, fresh salsa, toasted sesame seeds and chopped scallions form the newest taco in the Cal Tort family. Arguably it’s the largest of the taco bunch too…

Meat Week is back again. Calling all carnivores and the like for a week of BBQ, which kicks things off at Urban B-B-Q Company in Rockville on Sunday, January 30, 2011. The Chinese New Year is almost here (February 3, 2011). Ping Pong Dim Sum will celebrate the holiday throughout the month of February by adding traditional favorites to the menu including White Fish and Seaweed Rolls, a Beef and Shitake Mushroom Rice Pot and a Chinese Chocolate Brownie filled with Chinese nuts and paired with Blood Orange sorbet. Executive Chef, Darren Wightman says the fish is eaten for happiness and prosperity and the blood orange represents wealth and good fortune. Happy New Year!

Chocolate Lovers= The 20^th Annual Chocolate Affair. On Thursday, February 3, 2011 (6-9:30 pm), guests will have the opportunity to sample sweets and savory treats courtesy over 50 of Baltimore’s restaurants, caterers and chocolatiers. Tickets are $85 for general admission and $175 for Chocolate Angel Tickets which includes parking in the Ravens player’s Lot D. More info found here.
