Drinks on Me: The Grasshopper (Alcoholic)

[ 2 ] January 6, 2009 |

The Grasshopper

3/4 light cream
3/4 white creme de cacao
3/4 green creme de menthe
Ice

In a cocktail shaker, combine all ingredients over ice; shake well. Strain into a chilled martini glass. Serve.

*Johnna’s tip: When you think of grasshopper, green does come to mind…funny how this cocktail takes on the true colors of its name. The minty green flavor you get from the creme de menthe, however, will remove your mind far away from the taste of a grasshopper. Keep this recipe on file when you host an event with a “green” theme or it’s a fun drink for a St. Patricks Day gathering.
