  • Town Hall Restaurant Crawfish Boil

    On Monday, June 19th, 40 of the area’s chefs and mixologists will serve up tastings of their signature dishes at Chef’s Best Dinner & Auction. Hosted at the Marriott Marquis, Chef’s Best will benefit Food & Friends, a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC that provides life-sustaining meals to those living with HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other serious illnesses.

  • On behalf of ProChile and Pisco Chile, Latin Wine Shop Grand Cata will host a complimentary Chilean pisco tasting. Guests 21+ are invited to sample the products of South American producers, including Kappa, Waqar, Capel, Alto del Carmen, Bou Barroeta, Armidita, and Control C. Grand Cata will offer a selection of inspired appetizers to complement the piscos.

  • The 2017 Events DC Embassy Chef Challenge presented by TCMA (A Drew Company) will highlight dishes and flavors from all around the world. Embassy chefs will gather on Wednesday, May 24 in the Atrium of the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, where they will show off their skills and compete for the People’s Choice and Judges’ Choice awards.
  • Starting July 1, Equinox Restaurant in Washington, D.C. is expanding their catering services to the Delaware beaches, with a focus on seasonal, summertime favorites.  They’ll have menus suitable for casual gatherings as well as more formal and elegant entertaining options.

  • The first annual Metropolitan Washington BBQ & Grilling Week, is presented by Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington (RAMW) from Monday, June 19 through Sunday, June 25. Restaurants across the region will help guests satisfy their cookout cravings, offering “Flavors of Summer in the City” themed menus of grilled, smoked, and spiced dishes. Participating restaurants will offer mouthwatering grilled, smoked, and spiced offerings for $11, $22, or $33, varied by location. BBQ & Grilling Week culminates in the 25th Annual Giant National Capital Barbecue Battle, which takes place along Pennsylvania Avenue NW on Saturday, June 24 and Sunday, June 25, complete with cooking contests, live music, and beverage gardens.
  • And of course, there are THE RAMMYS!!!  The annual event will take place at Walter E. Washington Convention Center on July 30, 2017.  More deets can be found here.
