The American Lamb Jam is an epic tasting event and competition that brings together some of the most talented chefs from the DC areas to compete for the honor of Best Lamb Dish in their market.

The VIP reception hosted by Chef Rodney Scruggs of Occidental Grill & Seafood and the 2014 Boston Lamb Jam and Lamb Jam Finale Champion, Chef Nemo Bolin of Cook & Brown was by far of the most enjoyable experiences. Lamb dishes and Wine pairings made the evening fun and entertaining.

A few of the best lamb dishes that we recommend are: Grilled Flatbread Banh Mi with Roasted Leg of Lamb, Fermented Garlic Mayo, Herb Salad and Pickled Carrots. Marquez Scotch Egg with Harissa & Yogurt, Lamb Sausage Crostini, Za’atar Marinated Lion Chop with Isreali Cous-Cous Salad, Spring Pea & Fave Feta Hummus. 

At the Lamb Jam Grand Tasting, 16 Chefs competed to win the Best in Show. Although all dishes were wonderful a winner had to be chosen. Here are 2015 DC Lamb Jam winners for their categories:
