Honoring Black History Month throughout the month of February, Spirit Cruises in Washington DC is offering a special ‘Black History Month Lunch Cruise’ celebrating some of the most important and influential figures and moments on Saturday, February 21st.

With pricing from $48.90 per adult and $28.95 per child (ages 3 to 12), cruisers will board the ship located at Pier 4 (600 Water Street SW, Washington, DC 20024) beginning at 11:00am and cruise from 11:30am to 1:30pm and enjoy a historic and interactive experience aboard the Spirit of Washington as they take in some of the most celebrated landmarks featured in our nation’s capital.

Guests will enjoy a lunch buffet, a special narration highlighting important moments in Black History along Washington DC’s waterfront, and DJ entertainment in tribute to notable African-American artists, such as Duke Ellington, Marvin Gaye and Roberta Flack.

Johnna French is a Harlem NY native with deep roots in Panama, Washington, DC and North Carolina. All four places have heavily influenced her life and the foods she loves today. During the 2016-2017 football season, Johnna aired on Comcast Sports Mid-Atlantic (CSN) show, Redskins Life, as the weekly tailgate host. Johnna is currently a regular contributor to the FOX Baltimore Weekend morning show.
