Bastille: New Location, Same Great Taste

[ 0 ] February 12, 2015 |

Bastille’s is a French restaurant that recently relocated to a new location in Old Town Alexandria, in a revitalizing part of town. They hosted a wonderful grand re-opening event that consisted of some of their signature starters of Artisanal Cheeses, Beignets of Escargots, Charcuteries du jour and some very yummy Gougerers that I couldn’t stop eating. With ample street parking and wide sidewalks this new location will please the old and new patrons with intimate seating for couples and a private room in the back for group dining or private functions.  A wide glass window in the kitchen that diners can view while enjoying their meal. An ample selection of wine that is stored in a nice walk-in wine cellar was available for sampling. The atmosphere is very entertaining, with a small bar area that will be ideal for afterwork happy hour. I will return soon to sample some of their main dishes.
