Pappy Invite-1If you are a true Bourbon lover, then you understand the importance of Pappy Van Winkle to the game.  Lucky for Washingtonians, Pinea has a clear understanding.  We just learned about this exciting event they are hosting shining the spotlight on the beloved Bourbon and had to share.  Deets:

Pinea will host Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon-focused dinner in the new Root Cellar Whiskey Bar Saturday, January 17 at 7pm. Guests are invited to experience all five Pappy Van Winkle Bourbons (Old Rip Van Winkle 10 Year, Van Winkle Special Reserve Lot “B” 12 Year, PappyVan Winkle’s Family Reserve 15 Year, Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 20 Year, and Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve 23 Year) alongside a five-course game dinner prepared by Pinea’s chef, Barry Koslow for $449 a person (including tax and gratuity). This will be an intimate dinner so tickets are limited.

This event will kick-off a beverage-themed dinner series at the Root Cellar. In March, the dinner will feature Yamazaki, Japan’s oldest whiskey distiller and the next dinner will feature locally distilled Catoctin Creek.

Tickets can be purchased at www.pappyhour.eventbrite.com or by emailing info@pineadc.com.
