Where I’m Eating: Rialto

[ 0 ] December 18, 2014 |

So, it looks like I’m destined to dine only at Italian restaurants when going out in the area to eat for the remainder of this year (3 weeks ago, it was Ovvio Osteria in Merrifield)… not that I’m complaining. If anything, it works out because half of the time that’s what I’m craving nowadays. It’s also nice to see how different restaurants who focus on the same cuisine come up with their concept and make their menus original. Last week was my first time going to Rialto in Georgetown and when I left I mentally added them to my small list of Italian restaurants to visit. The cushy booth/chair table mashups are romantic enough for a date and also comfortable enough for a casual catch-up dinner with a friend that’s bound to last at least a couple of hours. Great portion sizes, decent prices, and great food on the first try = a happy me for the win. Did I mention that they have an early bird/pre-theater 3 course menu that runs from 4pm to 7pm on every day except holidays? For $25 ++? Oh yeah, go check out that menu here.
