Oh yes! Those were the words that spilled out of my mouth after my first taste of Hudson BBQ marinade.  Excitement for Spring and Summer BBQ’s rose as I envisioned the meats, shrimp skewers and veggies I can slap this sauce on for extra flavor.  Hudson’s has the spice factor of your favorite Cajun dish with a bit of tangy and sweet flavors to make your grilled chicken pop.  My disclaimer in using this sauce is that I make my own for my dishes so I would suggest this for the person that does not like to base their own sauce (*as many text messages I get about this, I know you are out there…).  Is it Spring already?!

*Hudson’s is a creation from Jahleel Hudson, a 2006 Howard University graduate with a focus on Engineering.  In 2009, Jahleel and his business partner, Eugene Clark, created Hudson’s Sauce Steak marinade and eventually Hudson’s Sauce BBQ marinade (*after a change in the recipe).

    Nice review.

Met Jay today when he was sampling his products at the Falls Church City Harris Teeter. Very interesting to hear how he started his business.

I look forward to using his “Original” recipe the next time I am grilling either large roast beef ribs or baby back ribs.
