Dishes We Love: Veggie Ramen

[ 1 ] March 12, 2014 |

photoBesides having one of the best playlists in Chinatown DC, Daikaya’s Ramen Shop has some of the best ramen in town.  With little to no competition (*except for the beloved extremely hard to get into, Toki Underground), Daikaya is a destination must in this area.  Getting in there is the problem where the restaurant has about 6-8 tables for seating.  The fact that they are keeping it simple, however, makes the turnover of tables pretty quick leaving you with time to check out the Prosecco on tap at Graffiato while you wait.  Go for the veggie ramen and the gyoza (pan fried dumplings), they are the real stars of the show.  Think paying $13 is insane for ramen??  It is one of the best cheap meals you will get in these parts and your stomach will thank you later.
