Have you ever wanted to make your own great tasting pizza at home but were not quite ready to invest in a brick oven for your home? Well, no worries.   You no longer need to contemplate that renovation. Chef Ruth Gressler recently released a cookbook entitled Kitchen Workshop-Pizza. Chef Gessler has perfected the use of the common home oven to make the perfect pizza. I was invited to Pizzeria Paradiso recently to try my hands at becoming an Italian chef. It was such a fun experience. However, I think I may have gotten a little too fancy, too fast. While I had a great time perfecting my pizza creation, I did not enjoy it as much as I had hoped. I created the Chickpea Pizza. While conceptually it sounded great, it did not translate that well for me in the final product. All others seemed to enjoy the creation, but it may have been a little too much for me.

Now that I am back home to my oven, I am ready to give it another try.  I have decided to start off simple and build my way up in complexity.  Pick up the book at test out a few recipes for yourself.  They have all pizzas ranging from sweet to savory.  If you are in the mood for something sweet check out the recipes with strawberries and honey!

The restaurant has a few promotions for any chefs at heart.
