Brunching: La Tagliatella

[ 0 ] January 17, 2014 |

Brunching in the District includes brunching in Northern Virginia too, which is why I ventured over to La Tagliatella for a look at their brunch offerings.  Enclosed in large glass windows on one of the many corners of Clarendon Boulevard, La Tagliatella invites you into eat before you even cross the street.  The brunch menu is filled with the usual suspects (*frittata’s, frittata’s, frittata’s) and brunch cocktail favorites.  The real stars of the show, however, are the garlic mussels and the Calzone Toscano, which is on the main menu.  Almost everything is paired with the Roasted Red Potatoes, which I suggest ordering if they do not already come with your dish.
