Dishes We Love: Taste of Georgetown 2013

[ 0 ] June 27, 2013 |

I discovered one of my new summertime favorites when I attended the 20th Annual “Taste of Georgetown”, an event which takes place every year right in the heart of the historic Georgetown district of Washington, D.C. This event takes place right at the corner of M Street and Wisconsin Avenue N.W., and gives a chance for all of your favorite Georgetown eateries to showcase their most delectable dishes. Aside from featuring some of my most beloved Georgetown vendors such as Thunderburger, Georgetown Cupcakes, Morton’s Steakhouse, and Dean & DeLuca to name a few, I really love the fact that the entire event benefits Georgetown Ministry Center’s services supporting the homeless which made me feel so much better about all of the food I devoured.

I also enjoyed a wide array of craft beer and wine selections, and when I wasn’t tickling my palate, I basked in the live music and cooking competitions reminiscent of my favorite cooking shows. Check out my video as I make you my complimentary guests for the day. Enjoy!!
