Dishes We Love: Fried Oysters

photo 2Who knew right smack dab in the middle of Times Square was good food?!?  Yeah, I said it…I have not found good food in Times Square. Ever.  After weeding out the chain food and greasy, overpriced independent spots, it becomes slim pickings around these parts in my opinion.  The Delta Grill, however, changed my opinion of the oversaturated chain restaurant market in this neck of the woods.  The crispy, piping hot oysters arrived to a person who instantly fell in love with their lightly breaded, Cajun coating.  Followed up with the creamy macaroni and cheese that could resolve any late night cravings, I resorted to ordering a second macaroni and cheese.  It was necessary.  There you have it folks, two awesome reasons to stop by when your in this neck of the woods.  Lastly, the food prices were reasonable for these parts with the filling portion of mac n’ cheese running you $8.
