Where I’m Eating: A Town Bar & Grill

I love party brunches.  That’s what A Town Bar & Grill’s brunch brings to the table.  The brunch is not a heavy thumping of music playing or people dancing on tables (*or at least I did not stay long enough to get into this portion of the brunch), but it sets up the stage for a fun filled brunch that could ease into afternoon partytime.  The $20 magnum Champagne bottles, buffet style brunch and make your own Bloody Mary station are the top attributes to A Town’s brunch.  We had a blast!

Recently, I had some picky eaters to entertain and immediately A Town came to mind when thinking of their future return to DC.  The brunch offers a little something for everyone:  steamed crab legs, a chicken taco station and omelet station were the centers of attraction on my visit.  Besides being the spot for picky eaters, I thought of all the frugal buddies I have who want to go to brunch but don’t want to spend a fortune on bacon and eggs.  Brunch is $19.95 and all you can eat (*drops mic*).  Unheard of around these parts where we thought we were getting the best of the best with bottomless on the menu.

As the restaurant launches a new raw bar and cocktail menu, the place has become one of my go-to spots for group brunches.  Don’t forget to wear your comfy clothes, besides growing a few inches from the all-you-can-eat buffett, you’ll want to be able to move with ease once the DJ cranks up the volume.  Cabbing it is also your best bet.  Cheers!
