Brunch!

Masa 14 just gave me another reason to head up to the roof.  Brunch is the affair of the weekend in DC, everybody has some plans lined up.  It often seems like everyone’s plans lead them to Masa 14 brunch which is why I have been unlucky in my reservation goals here for Saturday/Sunday brunch.  Naturally, I am excited to hear that they have expanded their popular brunch upstairs with a few new changes for the rooftop brunchers:

Prix Fixe brunch menu for $20 includes:
– Bread for the table
– Banchan (Korean “gifts for the table,” samples of items like potato salad, macaroni salad, spinach with sesame, plantains, sweet & sour pickles, etc.)
– One entree (from roughly 10 choices)
– One dessert (from 4 selections)

Also, guests will have the option of a $35 Prix Fixe brunch which includes all of the above, plus bottomless selection of brunch drinks (Mimosa Traditional, Masa Mimosa, Lychee Bellini, Bloody Mary and Bacon Bloody Mary).  These are the same drinks on the downstairs menu, minus the Lemon Lager.

Cheers!
