I’ve never really even considered giving Thai cuisine a try. It’s not that I’ve had any personal qualms about it, I just never had any inclination to walk into a Thai restaurant or try a Thai recipe. However, as my curiosity and adventurous spirit heighten regarding food and travel, I find myself very intrigued with the bold flavors that give Thai food such a popular reputation among some people. I’m not at the point where I am extra anxious to book a cheap flight to Thailand; however, I am at the point of hunting down a good restaurant that will offer a good first impression of the culture.
I’ve done some research so that I’ll know exactly what to expect and what I find most interesting is the approach that is taken to prepare Thai dishes. A variety of flavors can be experienced in one dish. Sweet, salty, sour and spicy (I am a huge fan of spicy) are usually all present within one meal – talk about a full, bodacious experience for your taste buds. Once I find the right restaurant to take my tastebuds on their first tour of Thailand, I’ll decide whether or not I want to update my Travel/Cuisine Wishlist and start putting some of my United Airlines points to the side.

I think we need to take a trip to Thaiphoon:)
Sounds like a good idea!
