Time is money.  Ever heard that phrase?? For me, this phrase carries many meanings outside the literal terms.  If we set a time for dinner, let’s stick to it.  You know where I’m going with this weeks Etiquette Tuesday:  be on time.  I touched on this many Etiquette Tuesday’s ago but I have to reiterate the importance of being on time for those that did not get the memo.  Recently, I met someone who has absolutely no concept of time.  Honestly.  I wonder if they know what a clock looks like or is it still a big mystery to them the way it is to an infant child??  It must be when you’re exactly two hours off schedule every time we decide to meet up.

If we say, we are going to have dinner at 6 pm, dinner is at 6 pm.  Now there is the 15 minute grace period or the “I got lost” grace period but the downright I just decided to get up and shower at 6 pm is totally unacceptable.  You may not know anyone with this habit but I’m convinced I’m a magnet for this type of character.  It may have something to do with the fact that my friends often call me a Pro at being on time but I really just despise people having to wait on me.  I prefer to be the solution to the problem, not add to it…FYI:  When you’re consistently late, you are the problem.
