Johnna’s Pick of the Week: York Castle Tropical Ice Cream
Do you just feel like you need a trip to the Caribbean?? Perhaps laying by the beach with a sweet taste of island flavor?? OK so now that you’re back to the reality that you are not at the beach and most of your summer trips will be taken up and down the 495 Beltway, why not allow at least your sweets pallet a little escape? York Castle makes it easy for you to escape for just a few minutes before hitting the Beltway traffic with flavors such as the Fruit Basket (guava, strawberries and cherries in one!), PinaColada (*a JKGF fav) and Passion Fruit. And of course they have some other goodies that you can indulge in for the full Caribbean experience i.e. yum for the Jamaican patties and another two thumbs up for the Jamaican Black Rum Cake. Enjoy, Escape, Plan a trip…but if you can’t just go down the block to York’s.
